long time no see

I'M BACK! :D
I didn't update for a loooong time because (as some of you already knew) I really didn't enjoy drawing anymore for over EIGHT months. I really disliked it, which worried me very much because I had never had a ' pause' for such a long time. How could I not like drawing anymore?!! But after going on holidays I slowly started to get my motivation back, luckily because I LOVE doing it again! I don't know why it all of a sudden came back, but I feel really great when I draw, and that's the way it should be.

Anyway, I went to the Eurekaweek two weeks ago, which stands for ‘Erasmus University Rotterdam First-year’s Orientation Activities’. I met a lot of new people and got acquainted with the student life. We visited many places in Rotterdam which was really fun. I'm so looking forward to Monday when the first schoolday starts!! It's gonna be awsome, I'm sure of that. It's weird though, that I wont see my old schoolmates as much as I used to... I'm gonna miss them...

Anyway, this is enough for now. You'll be seeing more of my works soon!!!! I recently finished a new commission and I'll be starting a new one soon. :)

I can't believe it, you returned! I thought you might someday. That's fantastic that you love drawing again! You are so good at it! :D I started drawing again recently too. Weird, lol. I'm not quite back to loving it like I used to, but maybe soon. I did an attempt at Indiana Jones in the summer, but didn't finish. I'm working on something else now as a Christmas present, so I better finish it, lol.
I know what you mean about missing schoolmates, but that's all part of the transition. Good luck with your first day Monday, have fun! It sounds like you are thrilled to be going there, and that really is the best way to go through school.

Hey Nathen. To be honest, this blog is almost 1,5 year old. I am trying to be a little more active on DA than I was before though. I have my first real life gallery in februari so I need an update website to show my work online. I'm really looking forward to it! It would be great if I could make some money with my new landscape drawings.
Right now I'm having holidays luckily. I really needed them. Now I have two whole weeks to do nothing :). How are you doing?

Wow, I feel really really dumb. :blushes: I saw your new deviations and saw the "I'm Back" title of your journal and just assumed it was current. I didn't even look at the date, lol. Wow. I thought something was off when I read that you hadn't drawn anything in 8 months. I knew it had been longer, but didn't check the date. So are you back to loving drawing again?
Congratulations on your gallery! That's fantastic! :clap: How many drawings are you going to have on display? And for how long? Do you have a separate website already?
I'm doing ok, life is interesting now. I graduated college in May and got a computer animation job in September, and have been there since. I'm having a lot of fun working with everyone there. Some people there have already worked on many TV shows and movies. :D It's a great job!
